Klarly is provided by ALLYGENIX PTY LTD., the controller of the personal data described here.

Your personal records
Klarly requires no account. Drink entries, amounts, dates, plans, cost and calorie details stay in local app storage and on your paired Watch. We do not collect those records on our server. App records are excluded from the app’s iCloud Backup and there is no app-level iCloud sync. Apple may independently manage Health data according to your system settings.
You can create a password-encrypted migration file and choose where to save it. Keep the password safe: we cannot recover it. Deleting the app can erase local records. You control exported copies.
Two optional purposes
Both choices start unselected. Consent and refusal are equally available. You can decline both and continue; free features, Plus and local storage work without measurement.
- Experience statistics: first plan saved, first recording action completed, paywall viewed, and a verified trial or purchase. The request includes the UTC day, app version/build, interface language, an event ID and an optional monthly/annual plan enum. No drink details, exact consumption time, health samples, transaction identifiers, prices or free text are sent.
- Apple Ads source: if you agree separately, an Apple AdServices token is sent to our server and then to Apple to resolve advertising attribution. We keep date-level campaign counts separately from experience statistics. An optional source question uses fixed choices and can be skipped.
We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, IDFA, device fingerprinting or cross-app tracking. Advertising aggregates are not joined to drinking-action signals by installation or device. App Attest verifies genuine app requests, with separate keys and random credentials for each purpose. These credentials are pseudonymous, not a claim of complete anonymity.
Processing and retention
Optional measurement uses Google Cloud, with a dedicated Firestore database in Frankfurt, Germany. The production measurement service and database are hosted in Frankfurt. Google and Apple process necessary technical data in providing their services; regional hosting does not mean every provider operation occurs only in that region. Network services may process IP addresses. Our application logs exclude IP, user agent, request bodies, credentials and tokens. The Klarly measurement service excludes automatic request logs from storage; necessary infrastructure security and administrative records may still be processed by service providers.
| Data | Maximum retention |
|---|---|
| Raw experience events, purpose credentials and verification keys | 30 days per consent credential cycle |
| One-time challenges | 5 minutes of validity |
| Apple token deduplication digest (never the raw token) | 24 hours |
| Deletion confirmation hash | 37 days, only to make deletion retries safe |
| Date-level aggregate counts without installation IDs | 13 months |
Expired data is excluded from use. Scheduled cleanup and database TTL remove it; physical TTL deletion is not instantaneous.
Switch off and delete
In Settings, turn off either purpose and choose to delete its statistics. Collection stops immediately and the upload queue is cleared. When offline, only the information needed to request deletion is kept; the app shows deletion as pending until confirmed. We remove the associated raw data and verification key. Date-level aggregate counts cannot be traced back to your installation and are not reversed individually. If uninstalling loses your deletion credential, remaining raw data expires within its 30-day cycle.
Deleting all local records is separate. You can choose to delete Health samples created by Klarly, subject to Apple permissions. We cannot remove copies you exported, other apps’ Health samples, or backups independently managed by Apple.
Your choices and rights
Optional measurement relies on your consent. You may withdraw it at any time. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and complain to your data protection authority. We will not request your drink history to answer a measurement-data request. For privacy requests or complaints, contact us using the details above. We will respond under the law that applies to your request.
Support, this website and service providers
If you email us, we use your address and the information you choose to send to answer your request. Please do not send drink histories, Health screenshots, payment credentials or migration passwords. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request and meet legal obligations.
This website has no analytics scripts, advertising cookies or contact forms. The hosting provider processes necessary connection data to deliver pages and protect the service. Apple handles App Store purchases, optional Health storage and its device-verification or attribution services under its own terms; we do not receive your Apple account password or payment-card details. Google supplies measurement infrastructure. Access to operational data is restricted to authorised service accounts and operators. We do not sell your data or send health records to advertisers.
Optional measurement relies on your consent, which can be withdrawn without affecting local features. Necessary support and security processing is used to provide the requested assistance and protect the service. If data is processed outside your country, applicable provider arrangements and legal safeguards apply; choosing a European region does not promise that every provider operation is European. We update the date above when this policy changes.
